In 2019, I graduated from the University of Dayton with degrees in Middle Childhood Education and Special Education. After graduation, I taught 8th grade special education and science for four years at Edgewood Middle School. I currently teach 8th grade science at Little Miami Middle School. Science was my favorite subject growing up, and I always hoped that I could provide the same hands-on learning experiences to my students as I experienced growing up. I'm excited to work for Strive where I can make this happen!

Alivia Beiriger

I graduated from Grove City High School in Columbus, Ohio in 2024 and am currently a second-year student at the University of Cincinnati studying Elementary Education with a dual licensure in Intervention Specialist. This semester I student taught in a preschool intensive care classroom where I created lesson and activity plans, implemented them with students, worked on classroom management, and provided behavioral support when needed. Through this experience I learned so many new teaching strategies and cannot wait to use them in my future classroom to best support my students.
At UC, I also teach a freshman Intro to UC course where I get to facilitate and mentor my own group of students through lessons I create about navigating college and being successful at UC. I have always loved working with kids and have been involved with them since I was young through babysitting, volunteering at my church’s camps and Bible classes, and helping with cheer camps for younger students.
In addition, I work for a nonprofit organization called City Gospel Mission where I help coordinate an after-school reading program. I have also tutored a fifth-grade student with a disability as well as second-grade students in math and science. On campus, I serve as the Membership Chair for Kappa Delta Pi, a national honors society for educators, and I will be the President of Aspiring Educators next year.
